Comparison of selected functional and computer methods for testing the stability in female floorball players
Kramperová, Adéla ; Urbářová, Eliška (advisor) ; Čakrt, Ondřej (referee)
The bachelor thesis evaluates comparison of selected functional and computer methods for testing stability. It is focused on finding a correlation between tests and comparisons in terms of time and space demands, equipment requirements, difficulty of performance and overall usability in practice for female floorball players. The theoretical part describes the problematics of postural stability in floorball. In the first part there is a summary of professional terms related to the term of stability in physiotherapy. Furthermore, the specifics of floorball are described with a focus on the relation of injury and stability in this sport and there is also a summary of possibilities of testing static and dynamic stability, without the use of computer methods as well as with their use. Methodology: A total of 40 players of the highest floorball (women's or junior's) competition took part in the research. For comparison, results from 31 probands were used. The average age of the involved players was 22 years (± 2.4). The participants underwent a total of three tests of stability, two of them were measured on a force plate (mCTSIB - Modified clinical test of sensory interaction on balance, US - Unilateral stance test) and one was a functional test (SEBT - Star excursion balance test). Results: The work did...
Differences in the level of aspiration and stress resistance of women floorball players Tatran Střešovice
Zabavská, Barbora ; Janák, Vladimír (advisor) ; Běhanová, Michaela (referee)
Title: Differences in the level of aspiration and stress resistance in female floorball players of Tatran Střešovice Objectives: The main aim of this research is to contribute to the search for a relation between the level of aspirations and performance in athletes. Furthermore, whether there is a difference in stress resistance in female floorball players of different ages. The general aim is to contribute to the current knowledge base in this area with new partial results based on the implementation of my own research investigation. Methods: The TATSO test was used for this research. The author of this version of the test is Janák, who modified the original test by Hošek from 1979 into its current form. The test measures the level of aspiration, resistance to stress and psychomotor tempo. The test is suitable for group investigations, but personal presence is required (it cannot be distributed electronically). It is a pencil-and-paper type of performance test. Results: I found that the older group of female floorball players had higher aspirations compared to the younger group, so the first hypothesis was confirmed. The second hypothesis, which states that the older group of female floorball players have higher load resistance, was not confirmed, as my research showed that both groups have the...
The relationship between morphology of abdominal wall muscles and back pain in elite floorball players
Kramperová, Adéla ; Machač, Stanislav (advisor) ; Šembera, Martin (referee)
The diploma thesis evaluates the morphology of the abdominal wall muscles focusing on the assessment of lateral symmetry in elite female floorball players and its relationship with the occurrence of back pain in these players. The theoretical part of the thesis includes an overview of the physiological mechanisms of postural stabilization in comparison with deviations in patients with back pain and describes the principles of sonographic examination and its use in physiotherapy. The theoretical part is also focused on the imagining of the abdominal muscles and the summary of specific findings in floorball players and other athletes, with a predominant one-sided load related to the biomechanics of movement in these sports. Methodology: A total of 20 female players of the highest floorball competition in the Czech Republic participated in this research. The linear parameters of the abdominal muscles (m. RA, m. TrA, m. OI and m. OE) and the whole lateral abdominal muscles were measured in players on both sides at rest using sonography. The participants also filled in an electronic questionnaire evaluating back pain. Results: Significant lateral asymmetry of linear parameters of abdominal muscles was demonstrated in the work (p = 0,017; d = 0,52). The relationship between the lateral asymmetry and the...

"When girls like girls": Lesbian Identity and Floorball
Sequensová, Linda ; Numerato, Dino (advisor) ; Kozubík, Jan (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with constructing positive lesbian identity in female floorball. It examines the context of negotiation and the creation of one's own sexual identity. At the next level, it compares the declaration of identity outside of the sports environment. The theme explored by the view of feminist tradition is to bring an inner look at the formation of an identity "girls like girls". The work relates to already created homosexual categories and categories of lesbian identities. Based on the analysis of semi-structured interviews, a typology of sexual identities is created. The work concludes that floorball provides an important space for declaring sexual identity. At the same time, it accelerates the declaration of sexual identity through openness, contact with sexual minorities, gender neutrality, gender segregation and time consuming.

Koníčková, Hana ; Perič, Tomáš (advisor) ; Chlumský, Marek (referee)
Title: Analysis of scoring oppoturnities in matches played by four selected teams during WWFC 2013. Intention: Purpose of the thesis is to analyse scoring oppoturnities from WWFC 2013 matches of selected teams Sweden, Finland, Switzerland and Czech Republic in a group and in playoffs. Methodology: The main method to build up the thesis is an analysis of succesfully shooted scoring chances of selected teams in WWFC 2013 matches, to put them into statistics and to evaluate them. Another method is to collect the databasis from literary sources and to process them into the theoretical part. Results: Outlines of the thesis are knowledges about the shooting and successful scoring chances of selected teams in matches in the group and in playoffs. Another outlines are: characteristics of shooting in case of its amount, types, where they were shooted from, how were they shooted and in case of the shooting situation. Key words: women floorball, world championship, match, shooting, analysis, statistics
